AC MakerSpace: Learn Twitch.tv | Part 2 – Setup Streaming Software
In this workshop, learn how to Stream on Twitch.tv is a free streaming service where people can gather to watch live performances.
In this session, you’ll learn how to start to stream on Twitch.tv.
Now that you know what Twitch is used for, and have a channel of your own, it’s time to get ready for your first stream! IIn this session you’ll set up Streamlabs OBS, the software we recommend using. This will include installing a free theme, turning on and displaying alerts, as well as adding a Chatbot to your stream to help with some repetitive work.
What you need:
Streamlabs OBS downloaded and installed (free)
A laptop or computer
A webcam (built-in or external is fine) (optional)
A microphone (headset or USB connected is fine) (optional)
We recommend joining in from a computer/laptop, but a tablet or phone will also work.
Make sure you have a strong internet connection.
