ACE Program – The Future of the Workplace in a Post-Pandemic World (hosted by Association for Consulting Expertise)
You are invited to participate in a discussion with Maine and New England’s top professionals & consultants.
To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the office’s death have been grossly exaggerated. Yet, what role will the office play in the future? What will it look like and why will it exist? Hear a brief history of the evolution of the office, learn the 6 factors that impact managing virtual teams, learn the top 3 concerns about offices before COVID, and hear ideas for the purpose of the office that could build community and improve employees’ mental health and wellbeing. The office may not be dead, but in a post-pandemic world it could look very different – and according to research, that change will be welcome by most people.
In this program you will:
Understand the evolution of “the office” since the Industrial Revolution
Learn the top 3 concerns expressed by employees about the office before COVID
Learn the 6 factors that impact managing virtual teams
Hear ideas for how the office can intentionally build community and improve wellbeing
