AstroEnvironmentalism: Environmental and Tech Ethics in Space
As part of a series of events pushing at the boundaries of Astrobiology this event will explore the concept of Astroenvironmentalsim.
Join us as our speakers examine the prospect of extending conceptions of the environment and environmental ethics to incorporate outer space, this panel will feature a key note by environmental ethicist Andrea Owe and be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session examining these concepts from legal and policy angles.

Biography of Keynote:
Andrea Owe is an environmental moral philosopher and research associate at the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute. She studies particularly the risks of climate change, environmental degradation, and AI, and the long-term opportunities of space expansion. She holds an M.Phil in Development, Environment and Cultural Change from The University of Oslo, and a BA of Fine Arts from The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
