The Bay Area Women in Space and Aerospace is back for its first virtual event of 2021, featuring ASU’s Timiebi Aganaba!

I am very excited to announce that the next Bay Area Women in Space and Aerospace event will be a virtual happy hour featuring the incredible Timiebi Aganaba, Assistant Professor of Space and Society at Arizona State University!

Timiebi Aganaba brings an extraordinary perspective to the Space world, having worked in 5 different countries across 3 continents in 6 fields and 4 different functions over her 15 year career. Join us as we learn more about Timiebi’s incredible journey from being raised by Nigerian parents in the UK to her work with the Canadian Space Agency, the International Space University, as a board member to aerospace startups, and as an Assistant Professor at ASU’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society!

We’ll explore how Space Law and Governance impacts satellite companies, what it takes to become a startup Advisory Board Member, advice she has for young women who want to become successful in the Space industry, her take on the latest Space current events, and more!

The event is finished.
