Data Science , Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning are expected to play a critical role in many areas of biomanufacturing. However, this transition will present unique challenges for developing and training the future biomanufacturing workforce.

Please join the National Academies for a virtual meeting of experts on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 11am-4pm ET to discuss AI, machine learning, and data science as they apply to the future of biomanufacturing. This National Academies Meeting of Experts is jointly convened with the Georgia Research Alliance, with the support of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Future Manufacturing Network (FMNet) Program titled “FMNet: Building a Network to create the Workforce Foundation, Actionable Roadmap, and Infrastructure Design to Integrate Data Science, AI, and Predictive Analytics throughout Biomanufacturing (AI:BIOM)”.
