Challenges of medical 3D printing: Planning, printing, paperwork & payment
Challenges of medical 3d printing: Planning, printing, paperwork & payment
Additive manufacturing at point-of-care allows physicians to treat patients very individually in shorter time with patient specific implants. Despite all the obvious benefits, some challenges still need to be overcome. These obstacles include design and software skills, qualified machines and materials, validated workflows and a quality management landscape to meet clinical & patient needs and to fulfill regulatory requirements. With MDR applying in the EU and FDA setting new guidelines, additive manufacturing in healthcare is subject to significant change.
With this webinar, we bring various stakeholders together on stage to share hands-on experience, answer critical questions and introduce promising technologies:
Dominic Eggbeer from ADT Foundation with his expertise in surgical planning and education
Martin Herzmann from Kumovis as technological MedTech expert in additive healthcare
Dr. Florian Thieringer from University Hospital Basel with both his clinical and 3D printing competence
Özlem Weiss with her expertise on 3D printing and MDR will moderate the 60 min webinar. We look forward to welcoming you!
The webinar is free-of-charge, registration upfront is mandatory.
