The Office for Science and Technology (OST) of the Embassy of France in the US is pleased to announce a fifth episode in the Cities of Tomorrow webinar series. It will take place on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 between 11:00-12:30 (EST).

The OST will welcome the presence of Anne Aguilera, Leslie Belton Chevallier and Laetitia Dablanc (Université Gustave Eiffel), Jean-Daniel Saphores (UC Irvine) and Alison Conway (City College of New York), who will collectively talk about their work studying the impact of e-commerce on urban mobility behavior and logistics. In their presentations, the researchers will share some insights on the development of e-commerce in France and in the US, looking at the differences in adoption rate and habits. They will also discuss some of the methodologies employed and challenges encountered in their work, in particular with regard to data collection.
