Learn UX skills by designing right alongside your friendly guide and instructor, Joe Formica, and other designers-in-training.
🚀 What We’ll Do
In this live stream UX design workshop, you’ll take on the role of Lead UX Designer for CityPups – an app that helps people living in cities find the perfect dog to adopt.
Together, we’ll learn and practice some of the most essential concepts in UX design in our challenge brief and work in teams to design an amazing solution based on a recorded usability test, where we’ll improve how CityPup helps people adopt dogs.
👥 First, we’ll learn about User Testing, and get a quick crash course on how to prepare, and moderate a great user test.
🔍 Next, we’ll watch a real usability test, and find the areas where we can most improve this app.
📈 We’ll learn how to conduct a competitive analysis, to get inspiration from other websites that offer a better experience.
🎨 Then, we’ll work together to solve the usability issues with sketching and high fidelity designs in Figma.
🌟 Finally, we’ll put everything together in a beautiful case study template that you can use in your portfolio!
