FOR SOCIAL CARE PROVIDERS: CQC’s plans for regulation, data and technology

We are pleased to invite specialist speakers from Royds Withy King to speak on CQC’s plans for regulation, data and technology.

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen many social care businesses across the country adapt to a more virtual integrated care working environment, with some businesses utilising technology for the very first time. But having moved quickly into potentially unfamiliar territory may have unintentionally left people’s data vulnerable due to not meeting some stringent yet prudent data standards.

We are delighted to welcome Commercial lawyer and data protection expert, Charlotte Ebbutt and regulatory and disputes lawyer, Fran Tremeer who will explore how using the data security and protection toolkit can help care providers with handling personal data and meeting regulatory requirements.

There will be the opportunity for a Q & A at the end of the session, and details of access to free National and Local support.

This event/workshop and offers of support are part of the Better Security, Better Care programme, funded by NHSX to support data and cyber security across the adult social care provider sector.

The event is finished.
