From Anti-Bias Training to Systemic Transformation
Conduere will offer a framework for approaching JEDI through transforming organizational systems that will drive real change.
The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) noted that diversity-department budgets at Fortune 1000 companies average around $1.5 million per year and Workforce Management estimated that companies spend a combined $8 billion on diversity and inclusion training each year. Despite significant corporate investments, progress in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), in most organizations has been sparse, and hard won. As just one example, only about 3% of leaders in large U.S. companies are Black. In corporate leadership roles in 2020, only 13% of Vice Presidents were men of color and only 6% were women of color. These percentages continue to drop for Presidents and CEOS, with only 3% of CEOs in 2020 being women of color.
In this webinar, Conducere, an organizational development firm, will briefly discuss where historical JEDI efforts may be successful and where they fall short. More importantly, they will offer a framework for approaching JEDI through transforming organizational systems that will enable dedicated business leaders, and HR and JEDI professionals, to drive real change in their organizations. They will offer a roadmap for your organization based on your JEDI pain points, and provide you with high-level advice on how to accomplish what you need to accomplish internally or in collaboration with experts.
