Home Office Digital: Engineer your career
Learn about our Engineering development culture and our investment in our people, helping them achieve their career goals
The Home Office’s mission is to deliver a safe, fair and prosperous UK. We achieve this through our work on counter-terrorism, policing and fire, crime, drugs policy, immigration and passports. We rely on talented people with a range of skills to help us achieve this.
We’re growing the Home Office Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) profession substantially over the next few years, recruiting to our main locations in Manchester, Sheffield, Croydon and London. We want skilled people to join us and make a real difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK and overseas.
What you will learn
In previous events we’ve run, people asked about career pathways within our engineering profession, what that looks like and how we support people to develop and grow their career with us. This event will answer exactly that, and go through the lifecycle from apprentices and juniors through to principal level opportunities, providing guidance around what to expect at each stage.
We’ll talk to you about some of the benefits of working within our engineering teams, and you’ll meet some of the teams designing, building and maintaining the technology behind the services we provide for our users, and have the opportunity to ask questions via our live Q&A.
