Introduction to Smartify: designing meaningful museum digital experiences
In this workshop, you will take all the necessary steps to design meaningful digital museum experiences on Smartify.
Unsure of how to bring digital solutions into your visitor experience? You might have heard of Smartify before, but what does it actually do? Join leading experts from Smartify and We Share Culture to find out more as we share all the key information to introduce you to digital content solutions for arts and heritage, and share with you more about the Smartify platform and useful tips to get started.
Using case studies from varied museum partners already using Smartify, we will introduce the main features of the platform – how to build guides, publish video and events and integrate e-shop, membership and donations functionality.
The workshop is designed for any museum staff interested in digital content for visitors including digital and database teams, marketing, education and curatorial.
**All attendees will be offered a free 90-day trial of the Smartify platform and a 20% discount on any paid subscription**
What will you learn?

This workshop is supported by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) at the University of Surrey as a part of an ESRC IAA funded project on knowledge transfer of the adoption of augmented reality solutions in arts and heritage.
