Introduction to Using Practical Tools in the Technologies for Classrooms (Scotland)
This session will introduce participants to the use of tools within the classroom & support practical aspects of the technologies curriculum
How can we introduce more tools into the classroom? What do we need? How do we store them? How do we learn how to use them? What do we do with them?
This session, for practitioners of all stages, aims to:
explore what introducing tools into the classroom may look like. Will it include including Scissors, Sellotape dispensers, iPad, saws, nails, axes?
illustrate practical examples of ways to manage the use of tools around a classroom
discuss why it is important to explore tool use in the classroom and how it can benefit young people.
