AI system MyCin was developed in 1990 and is the reason why now most parents and GPs know how to identify symptoms of meningitis. AI technology is used by supermarkets and food manufacturers to ensure that ready meals are manufactured in timely manner and are in store to meet public demand. Anne will also explain how Facebook and Google present adverts to you which are the very things you have been thinking about. Industry 4.0 technology also means that it is now nearly impossible to take an out of focus photograph. These are just some of the everyday outcomes of the latest industrial revolution which is changing everyday life.

Anne has a BSc in Chemistry from University of Sheffield, Welcome PLC Scholarship MSc in Control Engineering at University of Bradford/Universidad de Valladolid.
