Due diligence is the process through which investors validate that your company is indeed everything you told them it is. Investors want to see evidence supporting your claims, such as evidence generated from feasibility testing, customer contracts, market research and more. This can feel like a never-ending cycle for founders, and producing concerning documents can prolong the process even more.
In this workshop, the Jayaram team will guide participants through the due diligence process and how to avoid the common pitfalls. The workshop will identify key components of a company’s data room from an investor’s perspective, and will help founding teams understand what needs to be disclosed in the diligence process and why. Participants will leave with not just a greater understanding of the due diligence process, but with a due diligence checklist and access to other relevant resources.
Join this workshop to learn how to:
Gain a greater understanding of the due diligence process
Gain clarity on what materials should be made available to investors during diligence
Understand what work needs to be done on the company side before diligence can commence
Present an investor’s view on due diligence preferences
