An interactive workshop that provides guidance and answers your questions regarding Intellectual Property (IP) for Medtech, medical devices



Maucher Jenkins LLP is pleased to present a workshop in collaboration with Wessex Academic Health Science Network to provide guidance and answer your questions regarding Intellectual Property (IP). The workshop will provide an overview of the various IP rights that exist, as well as important topics such as ownership, confidentiality, freedom to operate, IP strategy, and funding for IP, using real-world examples from other brands that have been on the same journey.

This session is relevant to innovators, entrepreneurs, developers, designers and researchers in medical technology or medical devices, working in SMEs, NHS, academia or independently. The content will be relevant to staff and leaders at all levels where understanding or protecting intellectual property is key to success of their innovation development.

Dr. Fiona Kellas and Reuben Jacob, partners at intellectual property specialists Maucher Jenkins, both specialise in patents and inventions, design registration and protection, and IP strategy for MedTech, medical devices and life sciences. They will walk attendees through the various steps all businesses need to consider when aiming to protect one of their most valuable assets; their products, brands, inventions, and innovations.

The session will be interactive and will include time for you to ask any questions you may have about IP; it’s an opportunity to tap into the experience Fiona and Reuben have gained over their years in supporting a range of organisations in Life Sciences and Digital Health.
