Moving forward with GripAble – how our insights are shaping the next steps (limb rehabilitation technology)

The mobile platform for assessment and training of hand and arm functions with Dr Paul Rinne



The GripAble digital rehabilitation platform was launched in 2020 and is now recording well over one million hand and arm movements every month. In this session, GripAble co-founder and CEO Dr Paul Rinne will review the traction gained over the past 12 months and explain how the data and insights being generated through the platform can drive the future of gold standard care for those undergoing upper limb rehabilitation and training.
GripAble is a multidisciplinary team of therapists, scientists and engineers getting simple, effective and accessible upper limb rehabilitation technology into the hands of the people who need it.

Dr Paul Rinne is a Digital Healthcare Entrepreneur and Therapy Technology Advocate. As well as working on his own start-up, GripAble, Paul holds research positions in the NHS and at Imperial College London, linking the medical, engineering and business schools to drive Health Technology education and innovation. He achieved his PhD. in the field of Neuro Rehabilitation from Imperial. Paul has spent time working with both healthcare systems and therapy technology companies in the UK, Europe, US, Japan, India, Singapore, South Korea and the Middle East, building global experience in how these different systems absorb innovation.
