Preserving Endangered Languages via Gamification.

We are prototyping ‘Toy Culture’, an edtech/gamification product to PRESERVE ENDANGERED LANGUAGES, come and take a sneak peek.

Language is a very powerful and essential heritage of the world. It should be preserved for the benefit of mankind and the future of the world.

Some few facts based on research:

At least 43% of the estimated 6000 languages spoken in the world are endangered.

Languages are prone to endangerment in most cases as a result of when speakers shift to other languages either in an attempt to adjust to economic or social power.

Nonchalant efforts of ethnic group members to adopt and learn their heritage language as their first language also results into extinction level of mother tongue over the period of many years.

Once a language reach the endangerment level, the speakers decrease and children are mostly not learning the language.

Solution – Toy Culture.

Toy Culture is a mobile game solution to preserve the endangered languages and mother tongue globally via a mobile game designed for children between the age of 4 – 11 years old. This 3D mobile game is designed to simplify mother tongue learning.
