Uncrewed Aerial Systems or UAS are rapidly increasing in their prevalence and sophistication for moving goods, performing work and, increasingly, for moving people. As Canada embraces the fourth industrial revolution, its increasingly important to make sure that the government of Canada gets its approach to UAS right. With joint leadership from Transport Canada and Industry Science and Economic Development Canada, GC departments are taking a collaborative and synergistic approach to the adoption of UAS in a way that increases capacity in government, supports innovation in industry and delivers results for Canadians.
