The July 2021 Jobs Report + Explaining the Pandemic Housing Market
Discover the latest economic trends and where the job market is heading. Plus, we’ll explain why housing prices have exploded in 2021.
The June 2021 Jobs Report was a huge positive, with 850,000 jobs added. Though unemployment rose to 5.9%, the participation rate also rose, meaning that people are returning to the workforce.
Rising also in these past few months are homes. As families found themselves needing more space during the pandemic, many sought more space. With supply at an all-time low and prices rising, many have been priced out—left to wonder whether they can ever buy into the American Dream. On the other hand, it’s also brought about fear regarding another housing crash.
