Women In Engineering Panel Session – Australian Synchrotron
Gain insight into what our engineers work on at this unique research facility.
The Australian Synchrotron is a major research facility located in Clayton. It produces powerful beams of light that are used to examine the molecular and atomic details of a wide range of materials. The advanced techniques are applied to research in many important areas including health and medical, food, environment, biotechnology, nanotechnology, energy, mining, agriculture, advanced materials and cultural heritage.
Come along to our panel session to find out more about the exciting projects that our engineers work on everyday. The panel will consist of a mechanical engineer, software engineer, accelerator physicist and experimental scientist. Bring along any questions you have.
Every summer we run a women in engineering internship program. We will be providing more info on this program during the panel session.
Teams login details will be provided after registration. See you there.
